This all-time bestselling novel for readers of all time is about Guy Montag and his discovery of books. In the beginning of the story, Guy meets his kooky neighbor Clarisse. Clarisse is very different from normal society in that she enjoys spending time in nature rather than watching TV and enjoys conversation. She talks to him about books and plants seeds of doubt in his mind. A little bit later in the novel, Guy, who is a fireman (who burns books), goes to a woman's house who burns her own books rather than let them burn hers. He grabs a book (the Bible) quickly and hides it. He starts to get more books and eventually reads them with his wife. His wife hates them and decides to invite her girlfriends over to watch TV. Read the book to find out what happens to Guy!
I liked the plot and storyline of the book, but it was hard for me to find a deeper message besides "don't get addicted to TV, read books."
